The department of General Surgery is one of the most active department since the establishment of YCM Hospital. The department is providing regular services in multiple fields including all type of general surgical work along with minimally invasive surgery, Hepato-biliary and pancreatic surgery, endocrine and breast surgery and cancer surgery.
The department has three units which run a General Surgical OPD every day along with Breast Clinic and Diabetic foot clinic once in a week
The department provides emergency care for traumatic and non-traumatic emergencies round the clock.
We have applied for 11 seats to run 3 year Postgraduate training program leading on to degree of MS General Surgery
