Department of Community Medicine
The Department of Community Medicine was established in 2022 with a vision to strengthen the foundations of preventive, promotive, and public health-oriented healthcare. The department currently offers 4 MD (Community Medicine) postgraduate seats per year, aiming to develop competent public health specialists equipped to address contemporary health challenges.
Community Medicine is a vital medical specialty that bridges clinical practice with public health, focusing on disease prevention, health promotion, and improving the quality of life at both individual and community levels.

Postgraduate Teaching & Training
The department is committed to structured and competency-based postgraduate training. The MD program emphasizes:
